The Role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Electronics Engineer to join the EVOS team. This is a newly created role, reporting to the Chief Technology Officer.

Working in a small, but highly skilled team, you will make a significant contribution to:

  • Developing, reviewing and updating electronics design documents;
  • Developing and updating manufacturing processes and documentation; &
  • Working with contract manufacturers to ensure efficient and quality manufacturing of EVOS products.

Responsibilities:

  • 3 + years professional engineering experience
  • Experience designing schematics and PCB layout
  • Familiarity with electronics manufacturing processes
  • Experience working with test equipment and tools e.g. oscilloscopes, multimetersand soldering irons.
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Team player, with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and highly organised.
  • Strong prioritisation skills to manage tight deadlines.

Nice to haves:

  • Python, shell scripting experience
  • Wireless communications experience e.g. 4G, Wifi, and BLE
  • GIT/Gitlab experience
  • Telemetry protocols experience e.g. MQTT
